East River performs three-dimensional
CT dental scans to help dentists accurately assess and
plan implants and other dental procedures. Utilizing
CT scanning and sophisticated software we provide dentists
access to the latest pre-surgical planning technology.
Since 1987, when our
office introduced dental scanning to the tri-state region,
we have conducted thousands of examinations and presently
perform more than 100 studies per month. The CT dental
images are obtained in less than 5 minutes with 1/3
less radiation exposure than a full mouth x-ray series.
The images
are then reconstructed overnight into a format
specific for your dentists needs.

that the examination that we are about to perform
is considered a dental procedure and cosmetic in nature.
This examination is not covered by standard medical
insurance, Medicare or other supplemental Medicare coverage.
You are responsible for all charges for these services.
Accordingly,
we will not file an insurance claim form with your medical
insurance carrier or with Medicare should this be your
primary insurance or other supplemental coverage.
