Dr. Lauren Goldman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal MRI, musculoskeletal intervention, and women’s imaging.

She is Clinical Assistant Professor in Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Goldman obtained her B.A. with Distinction from Yale University, and obtained her M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine.

She began her career as an orthopedic surgeon at the University of California, San Francisco. After transitioning to radiology, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship with the Musculoskeletal and Quantitative Imaging Research Group at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her radiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year, and completed her fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at NYU Langone Medical Center.

After fellowship, Dr. Goldman joined the staff of East River Medical Imaging as an attending radiologist. With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Goldman has expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention (including ultrasound-guided therapeutic injections, aspirations, and arthrograms), breast imaging (including 3D tomosynthesis and breast ultrasound) and breast intervention (including percutaneous ultrasound-guided and stereotactic breast biopsies).

She is an active member of the Society of Breast Imaging, American Roentgen Ray Society, and American College of Radiology, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology.

She has written and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in several professional journals, and has presented original research at national radiology meetings.
