Marcelo Acosta is a New York State Licensed Physician Assistant. He obtained his BS in Physician Assistant Studies at St. John’s University of New York, where he was nominated President of the Physician Assistant Association. Upon graduation he began work at Jackson Height Family Practice where he specialized in Primary Care Medicine, followed by per diem work in ProHealthCare’s Cardiology department. PA Acosta then moved into the field of Radiology, joining Remote Diagnostic Imaging and Radnet-Oncological Molecular Imaging, where he supervised intravenous contrast dye injections, monitored chemo/radiation post-treatment follow-up for PET exams and administered/monitored intravenous sedation surgical cases. He is multilingual, being fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
